In his new release, Clear as day, North Carolinian Scotty McCreery brings fresh new country songs to the tenth season of American Idol on May 25, 2011. The Hub classroom has always had a special place on the Hub white board, but recently, the Hub class acquired a package of new Scotty McCreery posters along with his debut studio album, Clear as day, which was released in October 2011 and it was qualified platinum.

His newly released album includes the top 20 country songs “The Trouble with Girls” and “I Love You This Big.” His country music is utterly soothing and very claming which almost relates to some of Taylor Swift country songs. He embraces the smallest thing being in love and sings it in the perfect melody to make you instantly fall for his songs. He delivers the small “memorable” moments of feeling love including happiness and puts out a great song.

I have not been into country music, but while listening to his new track of songs, it made me feel more for his songs since he was that nice charm to his voice and the words drag you into it even more with that little boost. Some of his songs have a fun up-beat tune to it all the way to toning it down to soft music. He has the perfect mixture of something you would want to hop onto your feet and dance around to or just simply listen to while cleaning your room or taking a drive down a country road with a great view. He not only sings about the “lovey dovey” sides of love but as well as the down sides. The comparisons between both his happy love songs and sad love songs combine into a fantastic CD for his audience to listen to.
