Around the nation, students gathered at schools early in the morning on Oct. 6 to take or retake one of the major steps towards college; the SAT.
Many students of all grades from 8th graders to seniors attended. However, this test is particularly important to seniors. It is the second to last opportunity for them to have another try at the SAT if they are planning to apply early action or early decision to a school.
For some seniors, this was their final attempt at the test, and they are glad that they have finished all of their SAT preparation and tests.
“I wanted another go at [the SAT], and I’m relieved that I’m finally done with all of it,” senior Andrew Michelmore said.
Some others also hope that this last effort will bring the positive results that they are hoping for.
“I feel pretty good about how I did, I hope that I did better this time,” senior Zhongxia Yan said.
Now, all the finished SAT test-takers have to do is wait for the results.
“I really want to know how I did; I guess I’ll find out in late October,” said Yan.
