The seniors at Davis High have chosen where their future will be taking them
While there are many reasons a student would want to choose a certain major, many students like to choose a major that they are passionate about.
Senior Bernard Medina-Brown is going into college as a computer science major.
“I’ve always had a love for technology,” Medina-Brown said.
Senior Tyler Roberts wants to major in exercise science.
“I’ve known that this is what I wanted to do since I was a sophomore. I was inspired to pursue exercise science by some of my coaches,” Roberts said.
Many students start their planning early. Medina-Brown began thinking about his major when he was a sophomore. He prepared by programming in his free time and took programming classes.
Medina-Brown hopes to attend UC San Diego next year to pursue his passion for technology, while Roberts does not yet know where he will attend college.
