Students of Ann Moriarty’s AP Biology class demonstrate recent experiments conducted by class members in S-5. Physiology and Anatomy students stake out the quad, persuading incoming students to apply. Students of the Cafe Diablo set out their treats to be sold, as a demonstration of what the class does. A group of history teachers, including Mr. Williams, talk to future DHS students about the history classes. Martha Fiehn giving a speech as part of a demonstration on what Speech and Debate Club does. Mrs. Trokanski’s dance students put on a flash mob, showing off their dance moves. Zoology and Botany teacher Mr. Peevehouse explains the class and the projects that students have to do. Spanish students sing “Chocolate” outside the language rooms, led by the Spanish teachers. Mrs. Crawford explains Lifetime Sports to the families of incoming sophomores. Auto shop students show off their skills during open house. They also had a booth to attract visitors. The Cabaret sang not only group songs, but solos as a part of their performance at Open House. Student Government provides food and snacks for the families at Open House, while promoting the class.
