In the mens’ tennis Sections Semi-finals at home the Davis High Blue Devils took on Granite Bay. The match took place in the hot sun and many players kept to the shade during down time to keep cool.
The DHS doubles teams quickly swept the opponents giving Davis the 3-0 advantage while the singles matches still raged on. While the number one and two seeds lost for DHS, the rest of the singles lineup stepped up and gave DHS the victory 7-2. The team will face Jesuit for the section title tomorrow at 3 p.m. at Rio Del Oro.
