Lucas Boucher of Boucher Plants labels his herbs and succulents before the Farmers Market opens. DHS Alumni, Destina Agar, offers some samples of bread that have been awarded the healthiest and tastiest raisin bread in California. Rising DHS seniors, Kelsey McMorrow and Kasey Carlson, sit at a table for “Soles 4 Souls”, a company collecting donated shoes to send around the world to people in need. Guitar Mac sings Blues music at the Davis Farmers Market, advertising his latest album- “She Done Moved”. Guitar Mac has been singing and playing guitar for over 40 years. A Davis Farmers Market staple is the fresh apple juice from Ratzlaff Farms located in Sonoma County. People crowd the Farmers Market walkway buying everything from clothing to vegetables to sweets. The Davis Farmers Market is open Wednesdays and Saturdays. Rising DHS juniors, Sarah Zaragoza-Smith and Mikaela Manzano, spread the word about “acme theater company” and its new play-The Remember- about the Squaxin tribe and Indian Boarding Schools in 1911. The Peter Franklin Band entertains the market as they perform Country music, Folk and also Classic Rock. Tomatoes are the best seller for Lloyd’s organic Produce located in Winters.
