The Blue and White Foundation, a nonprofit organization that serves to encourage interaction between Davis High and its community, is selling customized bricks to be installed just outside of the Ron and Mary Brown Stadium.
The bricks come in different shapes and sizes, and can be purchased by graduates, families, businesses or other members of the community.
The Blue and White Foundation hopes that selling these bricks can offer a way for DHS graduates and their families can leave a permanent mark at their school.
DHS Class of 2014 Graduate Shae Langley and her family purchased a brick last year. According to her, her parents actually designed and purchased the brick without her knowing.
“[My siblings and I] didn’t have a say what was going on it, but I like what’s on [the brick],” Langley said.
Written on the Langley’s brick is the name and graduation year of herself and all of her younger siblings, so that they all can leave their mark at DHS.
The cost of an 8” x 8” paver is $250, and the cost of a 4” x 8” brick is $100. A copy of the order form can be found here. Brick and Paver Order Form 2014-2015
