Parking lot closure

The beginnings of a solar-panel installation project were announced to take place on Thursday of May 4, 2012. The solar-panel project was projected to close off portions of the Vet’s Memorial parking lot.

To avoid searching for parking in an overcrowded lot, students like junior Paul Mohr have opted to bike: “The rumor was that the construction was today so I decided to bike, especially since I don’t have a first period,” Mohr said.

However, it appears as though none of the lot has been closed off for construction.
Junior Lee LeVerrier was one of the many DHS students who expected the worst this morning when he arrived to school. Much to his surprise, the parking lot “wasn’t even partly closed, there was nothing. I think it was a conspiracy man, since it’s national bike month they’re trying to get everyone to bike,” he said.
