Cafe 110 held an open house through out their gallery and patio, including live music and hors d’oeuvres. The Hallmark Inn offered many pieces of art including paintings, abstract drawings, sculptures, and ambiance which attracted many. The Putah Creek Winery showed off a rustic, hole-in-the-wall style gallery. The Arterie’s theme for the evening was a formal, monochromatic, black and white scheme. Individuals who attended the event were encouraged to wear black and white in an effort to tie the art and art lovers together with a common look. G Street has a newly expanding art collective including painters, photographers, organic crafters, jewelery makers, and a string instrument craftsman. A local school teacher and featured artist discuss the gallery and the down town event. Blooming crafter and daughter of artist, Yelena Ivashchenko, is proud to show off her gourd bowl for growing the current favorite plant of many, succulents. With the arrival of dusky light, comes new art lovers of all ages enjoying the spread of art, appetizers, and conversation. Amy Habitcht perfects her gallery for her intrigued audience. The art cooperative offers many different art styles and serves a multitude of art lovers. A European-style, three piece band attracts all ages of locals as they walk around the down town at the Art About on Friday evening. Davis High School students, Riley Donahue, Drew Thompson, and Nathan Puckett of Crow Canyon, jam inside the popular shop, Bohème, and provide live entertainment at the event.
