Da Vinci students must adjust to DHS finals schedule

For many Davis High students, finals week is very stressful. This is especially the case for Da Vinci students taking classes at DHS, as they have a difficult time navigating the differences in schedules between DHS and Da Vinci.
Da Vinci junior Arnon Erba takes AP Chemistry at DHS, and because of the schedule differences between the two schools, his AP Chemistry final is at the same time as his calculus final at Da Vinci.
Erba had to figure out his conflicting finals, and will take his calculus final during lunch in order to attend AP Chemistry at DHS.
“Honestly, I wish Da Vinci would adopt the DHS finals schedule,” Erba said. “Also, [I wish] finals would start later, like late start.”
Da Vinci junior Isabella Ruffalo-Burgat does not mind the difference in schedules. Ruffalo-Burgat takes French at DHS.
“The difference in schedule is nice because it means I only have to go to the class three times that week, which makes traveling very easy,” Ruffalo-Burgat said.
Although travel is easier, Ruffalo-Burgat will be missing a class and a half at Da Vinci in order to take her French final at DHS.
“[That] means missing my Physics final presentation to take my French final,” Ruffalo-Burgat said. She may have to make up her Physics final after break.
