Academic Decathlon to host Trivia Night on Friday

Davis High’s Academic Decathlon will be holding their second annual Trivia Night in order to compensate for the district funds the club lost two years ago.  The event will take place at the DHS Library from 6-8 pm on Fri., May 26. General admission is $7 but tickets for students, teachers and members in groups of 3-5 will be $5.

Trivia questions will range in all subjects such as history, pop culture, science and music/arts. The theme this year will be World War II and Africa. Refreshments will be served at intermission for free and there will be a silent auction where audience members may purchase both goods and services such as desserts and tutoring by academic decathlon members.

First place winners will be awarded a gift basket valued at $100; second and third place will also receive prizes valued at $75 and $50.
