Toilet papering, also known as TP-ing is a popular activity and has always been tradition at Davis High during Homecoming week.
Carol Elms, a DHS student in the 1980s, recalls the results of TP-ing around town during this time of year.
“It’s always been kind of a prank to get back at someone in a good way, a funny way,” Elms said.
For a night of TP-ing, most students usually hit multiple houses in one night at around 11 or 12.
Sophomore McKenna Lutzker has TP-d a house before and once got caught in the act.
“We were TP-ing our friend’s house and we heard him yell at us so we all ran back to the car. When we went back to finish, we banged on his garage and he came out of his car and started chasing us,” Lutzker said.
