During a board meeting on Thursday, April 2, Davis Joint Unified School District Superintendent John Bowes announced the closure of district schools.
This decision was made “in an effort to continue to support the collective efforts of our region and state to slow the spread of COVID-19 and to protect the health and safety of students, staff, families, and our community,” Bowes announced.
Students will continue to be instructed through the Distance Learning Program starting April 13 until the end of the academic year on June 11.
More specific instruction on the Distance Learning Program will be announced on April 3.
