Spirit Week takes hold at Davis High

Davis High is showing school spirit this week leading up to the homecoming football game on Oct. 15.
Spirit day themes this week included Mismatch Monday, Tourist Tuesday, Workout vs. Wakeup Wednesday, Throwback Thursday and finally Blue Friday.
Student government members spent a lot of time preparing for spirit week. “We came up with the spirit days as a committee, we chose specifically based on ease of access,” junior Linsey Fitzpatrick said.
Kicking off the week with Mismatch Monday, many people wore clashing patterns and mismatched shoes and socks.
“I was most excited to dress up for Workout vs. Wakeup Wednesday because it’s kind of nostalgic from elementary school. I remember being so excited to wear pajamas to school,” junior Annie Navarro said.
The spirit week will conclude with blue out Friday. Blue Devils are supposed to dress up in all blue attire to show their school pride and support the football team.
