On the last day of school, seniors gathered at the Nugget Fields at 7 p.m. for the annual Senior Sunset tradition.

Friends took pictures, signed yearbooks, passed around soccer balls and footballs and played card games.

“It was just a very warm environment, honestly the perfect way to end my year with all of the people I’ve basically grown up with,” senior Carter Herrera said. “My favorite part was taking pictures with different groups whether I was close to them or just sat with them in class before.”

Senior Griffin Feldt works at the Davis Creamery and brought ice cream for the entire event.

“The senior class president and I thought this would encourage people to come,” Feldt said. “My boss was super happy to help out and I think it added a nice break from pictures and things to give people a chance to relax.”

The school year being over made for a very comfortable atmosphere for seniors to congregate together as a class.

“Everyone was relieved to be done with finals but also trying to enjoy one of the last high school traditions with everyone,” senior Heidi Murphy said.
